Through Stanford's Art Intensive program, I came across the art form of ceramics. Learning how to craft my pieces I envision in my head has become an exciting way to continue to express my creative self. As well as, ceramics has helped me become a better designer, as it has taught me the importance of the delicate intersection of form and function of a piece. The vessels I create on the wheel act as usable art, hence they require the consideration of the human-centered aspect of design.
