Ever since I was a child, I have been constantly taking pictures. I would follow my mom around and beg her to let me use the family camera. Of course, those first pictures I captured were horrifically bad, but over time I was able to refine my photographic eye and pursue an art form I had fallen in love with at an early age. When I arrived at Stanford, I took my first black and white photography class, and re-fell in love with photography. I love having complete control over my film photos, from snapping the picture, to developing and printing. Photography, no matter the medium, is the way I am able to capture my love for the world around me.
